PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner Officer for a Japanese MNC specializing in injection molding and decoration of plastic components for automotive and home appliance industries. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and controlling production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource use.

You will prepare schedules based on forecasts, allocate machine loading and manpower, monitor progress, and update plans amid changes.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in production planning/scheduling.
• Understanding of production processes, capacity, cycle time and material flow.
• Proficient in Excel and basic computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and update production schedules based on demand forecasts, materials availability, and production capacity.
• Plan and allocate machine loading and manpower according to priority, capacity and delivery commitment.
• Monitor production progress against plan and follow up with production on any delays, breakdowns or issues affecting delivery.
• Maximize utilization of production capacity.
• Update and reschedule plan when there are changes in customer orders, urgent orders, machine breakdown or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate data in planning schedule (WIP, FG and delivery dates).
• Review WIP and Finished goods levels to avoid shortage or overstock.
• Preparing Monthly reports for Production Planner KPI and Stock Report.
• Communicate clearly with Sales on delivery dates, pull-in/push-out request and order status.
• Participate in planner meetings.
• Support continuous improvements initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and production efficiency.
