Job summary

Our Client in Malaysia seeks a Planning Executive to oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, align plans with forecasts and customer orders, and optimize production sequences.

You will coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality and Sales to ensure on-time deliveries; manage materials and SAP data while producing Excel/Power BI dashboards. Fresh graduates with internship exposure are welcome in this dynamic multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Manufacturing/Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of production planning experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Fresh graduates with internship exposure welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP and Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and demand requirements.
• Plan and optimize production sequences by considering capacity, manpower, machine availability, and materials.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand, materials, capacity constraints, or equipment issues.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Sales and other stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Work with Procurement to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available according to the schedule, including requisition management and delivery coordination.
• Maintain planning data in SAP and other systems, and prepare reports, KPIs, and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency, capacity utilization, inventory management, and delivery performance.
