Job summary

QVI Foods Sdn Bhd, a central kitchen and logistics centre for Fresh Food serving Malaysia's largest convenience stores, is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive. You will source suppliers, negotiate terms and manage purchasing across materials and equipment to meet production and customer needs.

You will handle cost analysis, supplier performance, and daily purchasing tasks while collaborating with warehouse and management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher; degree in procurement-related fields is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience with ERP and SQL is an added advantage.
• Mandarin language speaker is required/preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Market research, cost comparison and supplier sourcing.
• Negotiate terms, price, delivery and quality with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery.
• Coordinate with inventory control and warehouse on stock levels.
• Prepare monthly costing data analysis and reports.
• Assist with procurement paperwork and documentation.
• Manage daily purchasing tasks and inquiries.
• Ensure on-time deliveries within product specifications.
