Job summary

Kobay Technology in Malaysia is seeking a purchasing professional to manage daily procurement activities, including requisitions, PO processing, and delivery follow-up. You will coordinate with internal departments to support production needs and ensure timely material availability.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Purchasing or related field, 1–5 years in procurement, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Mandarin is an added advantage for supplier communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Purchasing, SCM, or related field.
• 1–5 years in purchasing, preferably manufacturing.
• Knowledge of raw materials and supplier qualification.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Independent worker with good problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Mandarin is a plus for supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities including requisitions and PO processing.
• Coordinate delivery follow-up and supplier liaison on schedules and terms.
• Review requests and ensure timely procurement per ops needs.
• Maintain purchasing docs: quotations, POs, invoices.
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering.
