Job summary

Ormond Group seeks a detail-oriented procurement officer to manage hotel, resort, or F&B purchases across the group. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain inventory records, and approve purchases to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient supplies.

Key duties include budgeting for purchases, vendor relationship management, records of pricing, and negotiating optimal supply contracts, while ensuring timely delivery and supplier qualifications.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in hotel, resort or F&B chain.
• Detail-oriented, organized and thorough in procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to influence vendors.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
