Job summary

Bosch Malaysia in Penang seeks a procurement planner to manage materials for production, coordinating with customer order planning and project stakeholders. The role involves MRP analysis, supplier performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will ensure timely material delivery, support inventory optimization, and collaborate across departments to minimize disruptions and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement planning, material planning, or supply chain planning.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and data management skills.
• Independent, proactive, and result-oriented with ownership.
• Team player who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Flexible to support business needs and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement activities of assigned materials and interface with customer order planning team and project stakeholders.
• Support material simulation to meet customer order fluctuation and fulfillment.
• Study and take actions on MRP reports after MRP run.
• Provide daily updates on material delivery issues in critical material lists.
• Attend regular task force calls on critical supply materials status and escalate when needed.
• Attend Daily Leadership Routine with customer order planning.
• Ensure material arrival with right quantity and timing to avoid production disruption.
• Coordinate with parties to avoid line stoppage if material cannot arrive on time.
• Track and monitor supplier delivery performance.
• Manage suppliers with higher complexity and supplier development.
• Prepare reports and slides when necessary.
• Support continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.
