Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assistant Manager, Procurement in Malaysia to lead sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and compliance to ensure uninterrupted operations. You will work with Finance, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Logistics to align procurement goals with business needs.

The role requires a Bachelors degree and 8+ years of experience in Procurement or related fields, with SAP proficiency and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement, sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, contracts and PO issuance.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery and supplier performance.
• Conduct RFQ, RFP and tender processes per company policies.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and service agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Logistics to meet procurement objectives.
