Job summary

Alux is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Malaysia to manage procurement activities, source suppliers, and negotiate quotations. You will maintain supplier relationships, process POs, and ensure accurate inventory control while updating records and price lists. Mandarin skills are a plus.

Proficiency with Excel and Autocount or similar software will help you excel in this role; attention to detail and multitasking abilities are essential for success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and supplier sourcing.
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are purchased according to requisition requests.
• Process purchase requisitions for new products from engineering.
• Sourcing, negotiating quotations, and reporting to HOD.
• Evaluate supplier competencies and maintain relationships.
• Update supplier documents and vendor files in system and hard copy.
• Raise and issue purchase orders for materials and stock.
• Ensure timely inventory checks and update price lists.
