Negotiate favorable pricing, lead times and terms with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Manage purchasing and inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sources.
Analyze market trends and conditions to inform purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities.
Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions as needed.
Provide accurate and timely reporting on purchasing activities and inventory status.
