Job summary

MABUCO SDN. BHD. is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage the full procurement cycle for construction materials and equipment.

The role covers sourcing, quotations, price negotiations, supplier evaluations, PO issuance, and delivery coordination across project sites. You will build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance and costs, and collaborate with Project, Site, Store, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and fixed asset control.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/accounting systems.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with construction materials and equipment procurement is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, obtaining quotations, price negotiations, supplier evaluations, purchase order issuance, and delivery coordination.
• Source quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices with timely delivery to project sites.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and procurement costs.
• Collaborate with Project, Site, Store, and Finance teams to support project requirements.
• Manage movement, transfer, tracking, and records of fixed assets across projects and departments.
• Ensure procurement and asset management activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement, cost-saving, and fixed asset reports for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
