Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Transformation Analyst to evaluate operations, identify process and control gaps, and help design scalable, technology-enabled ways of working. You will partner with the CIO/CTO, leaders, and operational teams to translate priorities into documented processes, measurable outcomes, and well-governed delivery.

Key tasks include documenting current workflows, stakeholder interviews, maintaining the process repository, gap analyses, and designing to-be processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations management, management consulting, enterprise systems, or IT-enabled transformation.
• Experience working across functions and communicating with both operational teams and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Document current operations: Map and maintain accurate as-is workflows, SOPs, business rules, roles, systems, handoffs, dependencies, controls, and operational measures.
• Conduct discovery: Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and job-shadowing sessions to understand how work is performed in practice.
• Maintain the process repository: Keep approved process maps, SOPs, supporting evidence, decision records, version history, and ownership information organized and current.
• Assess process performance: Identify bottlenecks, duplicate effort, manual workarounds, unclear ownership, control weaknesses, data-quality issues, and compliance risks.
• Perform structured analysis: Use root-cause analysis and gap analysis to compare current capabilities with target outcomes and determine underlying causes.
• Design future-state processes: Develop practical to-be workflows that simplify work, strengthen controls, improve data flow, and make appropriate use of automation and digital tools.
• Define measurements: Establish baseline measures, benefits, KPIs, acceptance criteria, and post-implementation review methods.
