Job summary

Zurich Malaysia seeks a Head of Planning & Performance Management to lead expense management across the organization, directing a team of financial analysts and shaping enterprise-wide financial policy and plans.

You will partner with senior leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives, delivering insightful analyses, governance, and robust management reporting to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience with policy/compliance, ISO standards and regulatory edicts.
• Experience managing fiscal tools, models and financial reports.
• Preferred: insurance industry experience.
• Preferred: MBA or CPA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of expense management policies and governance.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting.
• Act as primary finance partner for strategic initiatives; provide modelling and insights.
• Deliver timely management and executive reporting with commentary.
• Analyse expense performance, market trends, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop finance teams; drive talent development.
• Drive finance process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Champion data quality and automation to improve STP and reporting.
