Job summary

Boston Scientific in Malaysia is seeking a contract Business Development Manager to expand the company’s presence in the region. You will lead country expansion strategies, identify opportunities, and manage contract negotiations with hospitals and distributors.

The role requires proven BD experience in healthcare or medical devices, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across ASEAN markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field; MBA/Healthcare Mgmt a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute country expansion strategies to hit short- and long-term revenue targets.
• Identify, evaluate and close business opportunities and leads to secure a robust sales pipeline.
• Negotiate contracts, provide inputs on pricing and terms, and manage renewals with current clients.
• Improve BD processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency.
• Coordinate activities related to workforce capability and client data management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify upsell opportunities and finalize deals.
• Build long-term relationships with potential clients, physicians, hospitals, and distributors.
• Monitor industry trends and adapt plans to market conditions to grow share.
• Engage with academic and research institutions and KOLs to generate opportunities.
• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff to support patient identification and referrals.
• Interface with customers and Sales to address complaints and ensure quality responses.
