Job summary

Alfagomma Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, invites a Supply Chain Executive to coordinate raw material flow, purchasing, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring material availability and optimizing use of capital.

You will liaise with local and overseas suppliers, maintain accurate records, and support budgeting and maintenance planning. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia and hands-on proficiency with ERP systems like Pronto are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or related field.
• 2–3 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, or maintenance coordination.
• At least 4 years coordinating raw material flow, purchasing, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing company.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review raw materials requirements based on orders and plan purchase orders with lead times.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
• Maintain complete purchasing records and pricing in the system.
• Coordinate with user departments and suppliers for project scopes.
• Analyze weekly demand vs. supply to prevent material shortages and mitigate gaps.
• Manage raw material stock and ensure correct receiving, issuing, and stock counts.
• Maintain FIFO storage and inventory of critical spare parts and tools.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance or repairs.
• Prepare monthly procurement spend reports and budget variance analysis.
