ASE Semiconductor (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a materials planning professional to own end-to-end material planning and inventory control, ensuring uninterrupted production and alignment with business demand.

You will analyze requirements, manage MRP signals, maintain ERP master data, raise PRs/POs, and collaborate across Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in a related field, 5 years in material planning, strong MRP/ERP knowledge

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Planning, Material Control, or Supply Chain in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), inventory management, and demand planning.
• APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate data into decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong Power BI skills for dashboards and data-driven analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for in-depth analysis and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Own and drive end-to-end material planning and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted production, optimize inventory performance, and align material supply with business demand.
• Analyze material requirements based on production plans, forecasts, and customer demand.
• Manage MRP planning signals to ensure material availability for production schedules.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters, lead times, safety stock, and ERP master data.
• Raise purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) on time.
• Manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and drive actions to minimize shortages, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Analyze and communicate inventory excess exposure to customers.
• Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies.
• Lead material recovery plans during supply constraints and critical shortages.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material issues.
• Support new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze material planning KPIs and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and inventory performance.
