Job summary

Ryt Bank is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Management Manager to lead the sales team in crafting and executing lending strategies. You will strengthen client relationships and empower teams to excel in credit product sales while growing the bank's lending portfolio.

You will shape credit product sales, coach high-performing teams, and drive revenue, ensuring compliant practices and excellent customer experiences across SME and commercial segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• At least 5 years of sales management experience in SME or commercial banking.
• Solid understanding of lending & trade finance products.
• Ability to handle credit assessment and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong strategic thinking and sales planning to drive growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and credit presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with borrowing clients across segments.
• Analytical thinker with strong credit judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for lending products aligned with bank objectives.
• Monitor market trends, credit appetite shifts, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive acquisition of new customers and cross-selling via leads generation.
• Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams to achieve lending KPIs and portfolio growth targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions focused on credit product knowledge and responsible lending.
• Foster a high-performance culture and ensure compliance with bank credit policies and lending guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, particularly SME and commercial borrowers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the credit lifecycle from application to disbursement and beyond.
• Resolve escalated customer issues.
• Prepare sales forecasts, lending budgets, and credit portfolio performance reports.
• Analyze loan pipeline data, approval rates, and portfolio health to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Present credit portfolio insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and responsible lending standards.
• Work closely with credit risk and compliance teams to manage portfolio risks, including delinquency and concentration risk.
• Uphold sound credit assessment principles throughout the sales process.
