Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Malaysia is seeking a senior professional to oversee financial reporting and analysis for the Integrated Reporting Finance group. The role emphasizes timely, accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS and AIA policies, supporting local units and Group Office.

Candidates should have ACCA or equivalent, a degree in accountancy, and 6+ years in a multinational setting with supervisory experience. Proficiency in SAP/BPC and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in a multinational environment with regional exposure.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in the above position.
• Experience in financial reporting and with insurance/financial services industries preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Excellent MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and consolidate submissions from local business units for external and internal reporting requirements (IFRS, EV, HKRBC, LCSM, HKFRS, Bermuda, management reporting).
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis in line with Group policies and regulations.
• Ensure information from local business units complies with Group standards for financial and management reporting.
• Prepare analytical reviews, journals, consolidations, reporting deliverables and financial statements per AIA policies.
• Support Group Office and local units with financial reporting queries to enable business decisions.
• Coordinate with Group Office and local units on rolling out financial reporting initiatives.
