Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead indirect sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and manage risk across regional hubs. You will collaborate with hub, division and global teams to deliver savings, drive process improvements, and ensure quality and compliance while supporting regional operations.

This role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder management and project leadership capabilities in a dynamic global environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Internal Business, Procurement or related fields.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in purchasing and procurement.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Understanding of technical, business, logistics and project management fields.
Strong business and financial understanding.
Proactive, initiative driven, analytical and strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Good command of English and local language.
Strong negotiation, influencing, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Builds and executes strategic sourcing plans and risk management for indirect materials, services, and logistics.
Handles operational procurement activities including negotiation, vendor management, and daily problem-solving.
Collaborates with hub, division and global teams to meet goals and manage risk.
Defines segmentation strategies and manages market volatility, sustainability and policy changes.
Maintains and improves service and quality objectives, resolving issues quickly.
Leads or participates in special projects at division and global levels.
