Job summary

Mondelez Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Lead to manage end-to-end indirect spend, optimize costs, and ensure compliance with corporate policies in Malaysia. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, drive strategic sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and lead the Indirect Procurement team to deliver year-over-year savings and value improvements.

This role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the Malaysia

Qualifications

• Degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years in indirect procurement, preferably in FMCG or multinational settings.
• Strong knowledge of the Malaysia supplier market and local practices.
• Track record of achieving cost savings and value creation.
• Experience managing multiple indirect categories simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal functions to capture requirements and align procurement solutions.
• Advise business users in defining requirements and planning procurement activities.
• Provide regular reporting on procurement performance, pipelines, and savings.
• Drive strategic sourcing and cost management, identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and ensure best-value selections.
• Coordinate with Spend Area teams for savings opportunities and efficiency.
• Support spend analysis with local market intelligence and sourcing events.
• Ensure vendor compliance with Mondelez standards on ethics, safety, sustainability.
• Oversee P2P processes and procure-to-pay efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Indirect Procurement team.
