Honda India Power Products Ltd. in Malaysia seeks a qualified professional to manage customs, permits, and tax exemption approvals, coordinating with MOF, MITI, MIDA and other agencies.

The role involves budget control, preparing reports, and liaising with suppliers, agents, and internal teams to ensure compliant import operations. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, strong documentation skills, and experience with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and government approvals is beneficial.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customs, permits, and tax exemption applications to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Coordinate with government agencies, agents, and internal teams on importation and customs matters.
• Budget control to support operational efficiency.
• Prepare and monitor budget reports to support cost control and departmental planning.
• Apply new model related document/approval to MIDA, MITI, Custom and MOF.
• Preparation / applying models' approval for new model from MITI.
• Application of BSH full CKD approval from MITI.
• Applying online Approved Permit (AP) for BSH to import full CKD from MITI.
• Application of online tax exemption from MIDA for New model. Re-new/extension of existing exemption.
• Distribution of approved MIDA tax exemption to local supplier & agents.
• Preparation / Applying Penilaian Harga for BSH CBU from custom.
• Application of BIG for items pending for MIDA approval. Submit related documents to custom for below report: 3 months reporting for local & CKD parts.
• Liaise/attending all query / issued with Government dept (MOF/ MITI/ MIDA/ CUSTOM & others government agency).
• Liaise with internal section on custom related issued.
• Liaise with agents.
• Re-new all licenses related to custom department.
• Distribute of import CKD billing invoice from forwarding agent.
• E-filling CKD billing invoice from forwarding agent.
• Issued E-PR for inwards carriage.
• Application of scrap selling/dispose to custom.
• Application of Excise Duty & reduction of Excise Duty.
• To communicate with Cost Engineering for documentation in order preparation document ILP.
• Create new supplier information into SAP system with approved document.
• To report to superior if there are any abnormalities found either at workplace or supplier side. An others task that is assi ned by superior from time to time.
