Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced HR Manager to join our public listed company in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor. You will develop and implement HR strategies, build a high-performing workforce, and align HR initiatives with organisational goals.

You will lead recruitment, policy development, employee relations, training, and payroll-related activities while ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment laws and fostering a positive workplace culture across our engineering operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
• CIPD or equivalent certification preferred.
• Payroll administration experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, selecting, and onboarding qualified candidates for various positions.
• Developing and implementing HR policies in compliance with Malaysian employment legislation.
• Managing employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Overseeing compensation and benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness.
• Conducting training needs assessments and implementing development programmes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Liaising with recruitment agencies, labour unions, and government authorities.
• Supporting executive management with HR-related strategic initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a positive organisational culture.
