Job summary

COMMERCE DOT COM SDN. BHD. is seeking an accomplished HR leader to oversee Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, L&D, Performance, IR, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and HR Operations across the group from its Petaling Jaya location.

The role requires 20+ years in HR with at least 5 years in senior leadership, strong governance exposure, and a strategic mindset to partner with C-level and the Board on workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimal 20 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing multi-entity HR operations.
• Strong governance and Board-level reporting experience.
• Experience supporting C-level and Board stakeholders in complex environments.
• Solid knowledge of local labour laws, compliance and HR best practices.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, L&D, Performance, IR, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and HR Operations.
• Act as strategic HR advisor to the Board of Directors, EXCO, Executive Chairman, C-Level and Senior Management.
• Manage high-level stakeholder engagement and governance matters in support of CSR priorities.
• Prepare and present executive reports, Board papers, workforce analytics and strategic proposals for Board & Top Management.
• Lead change management initiatives including restructuring, transformation projects, business planning and M&A integration.
• Attend and participate in meetings (physical & virtual) including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Oversee HR budgeting and cost management across the Group.
