Job summary

Affin Bank Berhad seeks an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to shape HR strategy across the business. You will lead workforce planning, employee relations, and talent development in collaboration with HR and business leaders.

Responsibilities include driving HR governance, supporting organizational change, and partnering with Talent Acquisition to meet headcount plans. A strong, proactive advisor who can influence senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with solid HR Business Partnering experience.
• Proven experience in HR business partnering and providing strategic HR advice to business leaders, including workforce planning and organisation structure.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations, disciplinary matters and employee grievance management.
• Experience in facilitating talent management, succession planning, performance management and employee development activities.
• Strong understanding of manpower planning, recruitment and resource requirements, including partnering with Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Management & HR Business Partnering to guide business direction.
• Manage Business Planning & HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Develop and implement HR plans for employee relations, industrial relations, and related matters.
• Analyse trends and metrics to develop HR solutions.
• Provide coaching and development guidance to staff; support audits and risk findings.
• Lead communication plans with HR Strategy & Development teams.
• Act as change agent for reorganizations and organizational change initiatives.
• Collaborate with IR on staff grievances and decisions.
