Job summary

CXL in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head of Strategy to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives across the group. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur.

The Head of Strategy will drive strategic analyses, oversee senior management and board papers, benchmark competitors, and translate trends into actionable recommendations while guiding the team within regulatory and risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 10 years of working experience developing corporate strategies in financial sectors.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder, management and communications skills.
• Inspiring leader able to command team respect.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of strategic initiatives across the group.
• Conduct strategic analysis and provide recommendations for long-term strategy.
• Oversee development of senior management and board papers.
• Oversee competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
• Translate data and trends into insights and strategic recommendations.
• Provide leadership to the team ensuring tasks are managed and aligned with compliance and risk management.
