Job summary

Ambition is recruiting for a Senior FP&A Manager to lead the finance planning and analysis function from Petaling Jaya. You will partner with senior leadership to drive performance, consolidate budgets, and shape business strategy in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role requires extensive experience in FP&A, hands-on SAP and Power BI proficiency, and a track record of delivering strategic financial insights across business units.

Qualifications

• A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced business and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the annual target-setting and budget process, including consolidation and presentation to the Senior Executive Team.
• Analysing monthly Business Unit performance across multiple data sources to surface trends, issues, and priorities.
• Supporting contractual negotiations, profitability analysis, and strategic projects including M&A, restructurings, and joint ventures.
• Challenging and advising the Business Unit on advertising spend, working capital, and cost development.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline controlling processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Managing cross-functional interactions to ensure timely understanding of financial performance.
