Job summary

Power Integrations is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Malaysia. You will drive financial insights, support forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams across regions.

The role emphasizes process improvement, month-end close support, and strategic budgeting, requiring 5+ years in FP&A, strong Excel, Oracle/BO experience, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A or related finance experience.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with Oracle, Business Objects, and PowerPoint; Adaptive Insights preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills: lookups, SUMIF, nested IF, PivotTables.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Malaysia-based experience; regional/global collaboration.
• Independent, detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue and margin analytics and ad hoc business analysis.
• Assist consolidation of commentary and reporting packages for operating expenditures.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and margin analyses.
• Assist worldwide budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecasts.
• Analyze spending drivers to forecast expenses and identify trends.
• Update actual results vs. budget monthly and guide the forecast process.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enable deeper value-added analyses.
• Provide strategic support for complex ad hoc analyses and projects.
