Job summary

Flex is a leading diversified manufacturing partner located in Prai, Penang. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our growth by preparing and researching financial reports, ensuring accurate allocations to business units, and delivering timely reporting.

The role involves consolidations, journal entries, and forecasting with close collaboration across tax, treasury, and regional finance teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a B. Com / B.C. S / M. Com / MBA /BBA/ BBM, any other commerce and Accounts Stream degrees.
• Typically requires 5-6 years of related experience in the Financial Planning and Analysis role in any MNC.
• Related professional certification preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA, or APICS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and researching financial reports to ensure charges and headcount are passed to the correct business units and to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Input journal entries and aggregate actual and forecast financial data; compare forecast vs prior forecast.
• Develop detailed commentary on changes in forecasts and deviations from metrics.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities and liaise with corporate tax, treasury and other financial departments.
