Senior Financial Analyst based in Prai, Penang, will support consolidation, journal entries, forecasts, and cost analysis while interacting with regional finance teams and external audits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a B.Com / B.C.S / M.Com / MBA / BBA / BBM or equivalent in commerce or accounts stream.
• 5-6 years of related FP&A experience in an MNC.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Input journal entries.
• Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data; compare forecasts.
• Develop detailed commentary on forecast changes and deviations.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Advise on accounting policies, US GAAP and BS reconciliations.
• Coordinate with tax, treasury and local finance teams.
• Generate financial reports for business review.
• Conduct cost investigations and suggest savings or profitability improvements.
• Make recommendations to management on cost saving or profit opportunities.

Education

Bachelor/Master in Commerce or related field
