Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Prai, Penang is seeking a Financial Analyst to prepare and research financial reports supporting business needs, ensuring charges and headcount are allocated to the correct units. You will consolidate financial statements, input journal entries, analyze actuals and forecasts, and develop commentary on changes in forecasts and KPIs.

Collaboration with tax, treasury and regional finance is required.

Qualifications

B.Com / BCS / M.Com / MBA / BBA/ BBM or equivalent commerce degree.
2–4 years of FP&A experience in an MNC.
Professional certifications (CPA/ CFP/ CMA/ CA/ CGA/ APICS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
Input journal entries and aggregate actuals and forecasts.
Develop detailed commentary on forecast changes and KPI deviations.
Assist in quarterly reviews and year‑end activities.
Advise on corporate accounting policies, US GAAP and BS reconciliations.
Coordinate with tax, treasury and finance teams across regions.
Generate financial reports for business review and decision making.
Conduct cost investigations and propose savings or profit opportunities.
