Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (MIA/ACCA/CPA) required.
• 7–10 years of financial management experience in property development or construction.
• Project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost management expertise.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing finance functions.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax rules, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly close.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management accounts, and reports to senior management on time.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements for property development.
• Manage project accounting for multiple development projects, including cost tracking and profitability analysis.
• Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff, fostering continuous improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators for audits and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies in finance.
• Support business development with financial analysis and feasibility studies.
