Job summary

ZUS COFFEE is seeking a Senior Executive/Manager in Malaysia to drive corporate transactions, financial analyses and strategic initiatives. You will lead financial modelling, support due diligence, and develop business cases for new markets while coordinating cross-functional teams and senior management communications.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment within a growing regional group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• CPA, CFA or ACCA qualifications are advantageous.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience for Sr Executive; 5–8 years for Manager level.
• Experience from Big 4 deals team, investment banking, private equity / venture capital, corporate development, strategy / business consulting.
• Financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of corporate transaction processes and execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
• Structured thinker with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• High ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute corporate transactions.
• Lead or support analyses for financial, commercial and operational initiatives.
• Coordinate and support pre-due diligence and due diligence processes.
• Assist in preparing internal memoranda, board papers and management presentations.
• Build, review and maintain financial models (3-statement models, sensitivities, scenarios).
• Develop business cases for new markets, concepts and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and analyse post-transaction and post-investment performance.
• Support initiatives and group-wide readiness workstreams, coordination and advisor engagement.
• Assist in group-wide strategic initiatives such as cost optimisation, operating model design and expansion planning.
• Conduct market, competitor and industry research across Malaysia and regional markets.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and workstreams across stakeholders.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and elevate where appropriate.
• Provide clear updates to senior management / committees.
