Job summary

MABUCO SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the Group's finance and accounting operations, develop strategic financial plans, and drive efficient reporting. The role focuses on supporting growth through robust budgeting, forecasting, and governance.

You will ensure MFRS/IFRS compliance, manage cash flow and working capital, supervise project accounting for construction contracts, and provide insights to guide board-level decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance teams and driving strategic financial planning.
• Strong understanding of MFRS/IFRS and corporate governance.
• Proven record in project accounting for construction contracts or capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting operations of the Group.
• Develop financial strategies, annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
• Evaluate the financial viability of construction projects, land acquisitions, and development investments.
• Oversee project accounting for construction contracts, including project costing, WIP, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
• Review progress billings, variation orders, and final account settlements.
• Monitor project performance against budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and board papers.
