Fuku in Semenyih, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned Cost Controller to lead month-end closings, budgeting, and financial reporting for the Semenyih workshop. The role requires strong cost management and collaboration across Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, Engineering and site teams.

Responsibilities include managing treasury activities, stock takes, taxation compliance, and audits while delivering actionable financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a related field such as Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in project cost control or related roles.
• Experience in project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of project cost management, budget control and cost variance analysis.
• Ability to prepare budgets, cost reports, cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP/project-control systems (SAP, Oracle) are a plus.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, Engineering and site teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end closing activities (AP, AR, GL reconciliations and reporting) for the Semenyih workshop.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting with financial analysis to support business planning.
• Oversee taxation, statutory audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow monitoring, banking activities and liquidity management.
• Coordinate and lead annual stock take ensuring inventory accuracy and policy compliance.
• Build relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions and regulators.
• Provide financial insights by translating data into actionable business decisions.
