Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounting Leader to oversee monthly and annual close, lead budgeting, forecasting, and ensure robust financial reporting across manufacturing operations.

You will manage GL, journal entries, cash flow, audits, and develop the Finance & Accounting team, leveraging SAP ERP to strengthen internal controls and drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, EMS or MNC environment is preferred.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP ERP / SAP Financial System.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and internal controls.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis.
• Manage GL, journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and financing activities.
• Oversee AR, AP and inventory management.
• Manage banking relationships, loans and credit facilities.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
