Job summary

Kitron ASA in Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to oversee channels for new projects and mass production. You will manage orders in the IFS ERP, control inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to meet delivery timelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, EMS procurement experience, and strong negotiation/communication skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is needed; work is on-site in Senai, Johor.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably within an EMS industry.
Proficiency in IFS or similar ERP systems.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage supplier relationships.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Oversee procurement channels to support new projects and mass production and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
Maintain and update a rolling three-month procurement plan with weekly/monthly reviews.
Manage the order process within IFS ERP, ensuring accurate order generation and timely supplier delivery.
Control inventory based on monthly sales targets and ensure materials meet production needs.
Assist in resolving issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
Handle MRO and other indirect purchases, including sourcing, issuing POs, and follow-ups.
Maintain effective supplier communication and monitor performance; conduct audits.
