Job summary

Flex in Senai, Malaysia, seeks a Buyer to coordinate procurement of direct materials and components for production. You will maintain supplier relationships, place and adjust orders, track shipments, and ensure timely availability of parts to support manufacturing schedules.

The role requires 1–2 years in procurement, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems; strong numerical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1–2 years of procurement experience.
• Proficient using Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ERP software experience preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relations with suppliers and place orders per production needs.
• Receive confirmations, check and adjust purchase orders per production plan.
• Track shipments and monitor stock to avoid overstock.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses for transport.
• Process supplier invoices and manage procurement records.
