Job summary

Flex is seeking a Buyer Direct located in Prai or Batu Kawan, Penang, to support our production teams by managing supplier relations, placing orders for raw materials, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of procurement experience and demonstrates strong ERP and vendor management skills. Medical benefits, life insurance, PTO and a performance bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relations with suppliers and manage procurement records.
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts as production requires.
• Track shipments and manage quotations, invoices, and payment approvals.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct weekly inventory reviews to avoid overstock/obsolescence.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses to organize transportation.
