Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Relationship Manager, Deposit in Commercial Banking to drive growth of our deposit portfolio and expand relationships with business clients. You will work on both Conventional and Islamic deposits, identifying opportunities to cross-sell Cash Management, Trade Finance, Payroll, and FX services.

Building strong client partnerships and coordinating with branches and region teams will be essential to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in business development, relationship management, or deposit acquisition within banking and financial services.

Responsibilities

Grow and manage the Commercial Banking deposit portfolio (Conventional & Islamic), including acquiring New-to-Bank and New-to-Commercial Banking customers.
Develop and strengthen relationships with commercial banking clients while expanding deposit balances across CASA, Fixed Deposits, Money Market Deposits, Payroll, Trade, and Operating Accounts.
Drive customer acquisition and increase deposit balances through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market penetration initiatives.
Identify business opportunities and conduct client engagements to promote Cash Management, Trade Finance, Payroll, Foreign Currency Accounts, and other transactional banking solutions.
Work closely with Region Heads, Branches, and internal stakeholders to deliver holistic banking solutions that meet customers’ evolving business needs.
Deepen customer relationships and maximize share of wallet through cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services, including Commercial Cards, Insurance, Financing Facilities, Treasury Solutions, and Transaction Banking Products.
