Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Relationship Manager, Deposit, Commercial Banking in Malaysia to grow the commercial deposit portfolio (Conventional & Islamic) and build strong client relationships with businesses to support their financial goals.

You will expand deposit balances across CASA, Fixed Deposits, MMD, Payroll, Trade, and Operating Accounts while promoting Cash Management, Trade Finance, and other transactional banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, relationship management, or deposit acquisition within banking/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the Commercial Banking deposit portfolio (Conventional & Islamic).
• Develop and strengthen relationships with commercial banking clients while expanding deposit balances across CASA, FD, MMD, Payroll, Trade, and Operating Accounts.
• Drive customer acquisition and increase deposit balances through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market penetration.
• Promote Cash Management, Trade Finance, Payroll, FCY Accounts, and other transactional banking solutions.
• Collaborate with Region Heads, Branches, and internal stakeholders to deliver holistic banking solutions.
• Deepen relationships and maximize share of wallet through cross-selling of products and services.
• Facilitate onboarding, activation, and utilization of Foreign Exchange facilities for domestic and international business activities.
• Maintain understanding of market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
