McDonald’s Malaysia- Gerbang Alaf Restaurants Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager - Demand Management & Process Excellence to lead the Data Analytics & Business Insights team supporting the Singapore market. The role governs the demand pipeline, prioritizes initiatives and drives process excellence across business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Typically 6-10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, demand management, process excellence, project management, consulting, digital transformation or data & analytics.
• Experience managing multiple projects, business demands and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong experience in business process analysis, process mapping and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Strong understanding of data, analytics and technology solutions, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in Agile or other structured project delivery methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience in the retail, hospitality or quick-service restaurant industry is an advantage.
• Willing and able to travel to Singapore as when required

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end demand management process for the Singapore market, from business request intake through prioritization, planning and delivery.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, pain points and expected outcomes.
• Assess and qualify incoming demands based on business value, urgency, complexity, resource requirements and strategic alignment.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions with business and Data & Analytics leadership to ensure resources are focused on the highest-value initiatives.
• Maintain a consolidated demand pipeline and provide regular visibility on demand status, priorities, capacity and delivery timelines.
• Identify dependencies, risks and potential conflicts across initiatives and proactively manage them with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure demand requests are sufficiently defined with clear objectives, scope, expected benefits and success measures before moving into delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, customer experience and operational performance.
• Conduct process reviews to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, duplication, manual activities and opportunities for standardization.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies, including automation and digital solutions where appropriate.
• Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis and solution design with relevant business stakeholders.
• Establish opportunities to standardize processes across functions and, where relevant, align Singapore processes with regional or Malaysia best practices.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standards and governance frameworks.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements and identify further opportunities for optimization.
• Act as the key liaison between Singapore business stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, functional teams, technology teams and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, presentations and solution discussions.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for Data, BI, Data Engineering, Data Science and technology teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and potential solutions in a simple and business-friendly manner.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, priorities and changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead or coordinate cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop project plans, milestones, deliverables and success measures.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realization.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered within agreed scope, timeline and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with Data & Analytics teams and external technology partners where required.
• Support change management, user adoption, training and post-implementation activities.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Scientists and other technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective data and analytics solutions.
• Ensure data requirements, availability, quality and business definitions are clearly understood before solution development.
• Support the identification of relevant data sources and assess data availability and limitations.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to identify opportunities to generate actionable insights from business data.
• Promote data-driven decision making by helping business teams understand and utilise available data and analytics capabilities.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues that impact reporting, analytics and business decisions
• Effective and transparent demand management process for the Singapore market.
• Prioritized and well-defined demand pipeline aligned with business priorities.
