Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a highly driven Data & AI Pre-sales Specialist to grow its Data & AI practice in Malaysia. You will bridge business needs with technical capabilities, shaping transformative data-driven solutions for large enterprises.

The role involves leading consultative engagements, guiding governance, and delivering end-to-end pre-sales activities including PoCs, demos, and executive briefings for CXOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting, or strategy advisory in Data & AI.
• Experience consulting with large enterprises in Malaysia (BFSI, Telco, Government, Manufacturing, or Energy).
• Strong understanding of data integration, pipelines, modelling, governance, and quality.
• Knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle, on-prem/cloud data platforms, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative engagements with enterprise clients to propose data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
• Conduct Data & AI maturity assessments, workshops, and executive briefings.
• Translate technical concepts into business value for decision-makers.
• Define Data & AI strategies, governance, data platform modernization, and roadmaps.
• Prepare proposals, demos, PoCs, and CXO-level presentations; support RFP/RFI responses.
