Job summary

Altera in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Inside Sales and Customer Operations professional to own end-to-end customer relationships from lead-to-order and order-to-cash. You will collaborate with field sales, FAEs, and distribution partners to manage demand signals, orders, escalations, and account health.

The role focuses on proactive customer engagement, understanding demand roadmaps, and ensuring timely follow-ups while driving revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• 3+ years in a customer operation, inside sales, or sales operations role with end-to-end ownership of customer issues in a semiconductor/high-tech environment.
• Familiarity with high-touch technical sales and distribution models.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with field sales in collaboration with procurement and planning personnel.
• Drive customer intimacy by engaging with procurement and planning contacts and forecasting demand.
• Provide back-office support for Sales/FAE teams including pricing, quotes, and documentation.
