Job summary

Concrete Engineering Products Berhad is seeking a skilled accounts receivable professional to manage credit, monitor collections, and minimize risk while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires processing new credit applications, performing due diligence with CTOS, and enforcing security arrangements. Strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of credit management and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, AutoCount, SQL, etc.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's accounts receivable and monitor customer credit.
• Ensure timely collections and minimize credit risk while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Process new credit applications and submit them for approval.
• Perform due diligence and obtain credit reports from CTOS, reviewing financial information as required.
• Conduct cross-reference checks and monitor approved credit limits and terms.
• Mitigate credit risks by securing appropriate security arrangements (Bank Guarantees, Directors' Guarantees, Lien Holder Caveats, Assignments, Letters of Credit).
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
• Handle legal matters related to credit control and debt recovery.
