Job summary

Chin Hin Group Berhad is seeking a Credit Control Executive for a 1-year contract based in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities include cash application, credit assessment, and managing credit exposure while coordinating with sales teams to address delinquencies.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting/finance or related fields, with 1–3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of working experience in the related field is required; Fresh graduates welcomed.
• Strong knowledge of credit control procedures, debt collection practices, and credit risk assessment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and internal staff.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• To process cash application and assess credit worthiness of new, review & reactivate accounts, and provide comments/recommendations for management.
• To monitor credit exposure of existing customers by reviewing accounts and identifying delinquencies.
• To conduct monthly AR collection meetings with sales team to update payment status and resolve long overdue debts.
• To assist in recovery of overdue debts and minimize bad debts, including issuing reminders and pursuing legal action when needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and external parties such as credit agencies and legal counsel.
• Prepare monthly credit reports for Management and handle credit administration and reporting functions.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
