Job summary
Private Advertiser in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a highly analytical Senior Cost Analyst to support financial planning, cost management, and business performance improvement. You will analyze manufacturing and operational costs, provide actionable insights, and help drive profitability and efficiency.
The role requires experience in budgeting/forecasting, cost variance analysis, and strong Excel skills; Power BI/Power Query knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong background in financial analysis and cost management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Manufacturing costing and cost variance analysis preferred.
- Knowledge of FP&A, inventory valuation, and cost structures.
- Proficiency in Excel; Power Query and Power BI advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Cost analysis and control of manufacturing and operation costs.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis.
- Analyze product costs, overheads, inventory valuation, and margins.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.
- Support audits and ensure policy compliance.
- Undertake ad hoc finance projects.
