Job summary

Huasin Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Costing Executive/Senior Costing Executive in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will prepare product costing, analyze variances, and collaborate with sales to price for targeted margins, while driving cost-saving initiatives across departments.

You will work with Procurement, Production, and auditors to ensure cost accuracy and tax submissions, contributing to overall manufacturing efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of working experience in manufacturing costing or cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally between departments.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update product costing, including material, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Analyze actual production costs versus standard costs and identify variances.
• Collaborate with sales team to establish pricing strategies that secure targeted gross profit margins.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support initiatives to improve manufacturing cost efficiency.
• Work closely with Procurement on supplier pricing and cost comparisons.
• Assist Production in identifying cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare costing reports for management review.
• Cooperate with auditors to ensure compliance with audit standards.
• Support preparation of indirect tax submissions (e.g., SST, VAT, GST as applicable).
• Assist in compiling data for corporate tax filing and liaising with external tax agents or auditors.

Education
