Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead contract negotiation, administration, and risk management across projects. You will draft, review and execute agreements, support end-users and coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to protect commercial interests.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in contract management within construction, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical or renewable energy, with strong communication and negotiation skills

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• 6–8 years in contract management/administration, preferably within construction, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or renewable energy.
• Key expertise includes contract negotiation, drafting, administration, claims, variations, payment management, contract close-out, and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate vendor terms to safeguard the company’s contractual interests.
• Draft and execute contracts in line with agreed terms and conditions.
• Support end users and project teams with day-to-day contract administration and management.
• Manage variations, contractor claims, disputes, and other contractual matters.
• Draft and issue contractual notices and correspondence.
• Maintain contractual registers and project records.
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual requirements and standards.
• Review, analyze, and administer contract variations in accordance with approved scope.
• Ensure project payment processes and approval recommendations are accurate and compliant with governance requirements.
• Manage contract close-out and completion processes.
• Review and facilitate approval of Completion Certificates.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive contract records and correspondence.
• Lead negotiations with internal and external stakeholders when required.
• Establish agreements that protect commercial and contractual interests.
