Job summary

Avery Dennison Yongle (Shah Alam, Malaysia) is seeking a Direct Procurement Specialist/Executive to secure raw materials and components for production. You will manage POs, track deliveries, and maintain supplier data to ensure 100% supply continuity.

The role requires 1–3 years in procurement or inventory management, a chemistry/engineering/business background, and SAP ERP experience. Fluency in English and Malay is essential, Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain coordination, or inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, clear communication, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus to manage relationships with regional service providers.

Responsibilities

• Execute and track purchase orders within the ERP system.
• Source chemical raw materials using technical specifications.
• Maintain ERP master data including pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and QA on pricing, returns, and RMA.
• Compile monthly supplier scorecards, OTIF delivery, and defect KPIs.
