Job summary

FERROTEC MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a diligent Buyer Planner to coordinate procurement and inventory across direct and indirect materials in our Malaysia operations.

You will interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries at competitive costs while maintaining optimal stock levels. The role requires at least a bachelor's in supply chain, 3 years in buyer/planner, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in Buyer Planner role.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MRP / ERP system.
• Experience in launching a start-up company.
• Extensive knowledge of supplier base and network.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast paced environment.
• Experience in launching a start-up company & with good communication in English/Malay/ Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and procure components and inventory levels.
• Interact with stakeholders to drive on-time deliveries at competitive costs.
• Maintain data integrity of the MRP system and monitor supplier performance.
• Collaborate to implement process improvements and kaizen activities.
• Ensure integrity of BOM and inventory control.
