Job summary

YYC is seeking a commercially minded Audit Manager to join its Assurance division in Malaysia. Location: Sunway Tower, Jalan Ampang. The role leads audit engagements, ensures compliance with MFRS/PERS, ISA and the Companies Act 2016, and delivers strategic advisory to senior client leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Active professional membership (MIA, ACCA, CPA Australia, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with audit knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, taking full ownership of audit engagements from planning to finalization.
• Review complex financial statements and audit working papers to ensure compliance with MFRS/PERS, ISA, and the Companies Act 2016.
• Identify client risks and provide actionable advisory insights to board-level stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for client leadership, lead audit meetings, and drive cross-selling opportunities.
• Guide and develop team members, coordinate staff allocation, and promote continuous learning.

Education
